A stockmarket crash is a sharp fall of the exchange rates of all the shares without distinction, the purchasers are absent and the salesmen do not find any more opposing view, that involves a fall from at least 30% of the markets in a few weeks to see a few days.
One often speaks about crash for all the important consolidations of the markets, but at the time of true crash one can have days when indices as the drops of more than 10% and where it is very difficult to sell.
